Here in this content we shall try to learn how to speech on International Yoga Day. This content is also beneficial to school going students who are asked to perform speech on stage.

Good morning everyone, respected principal, teachers and my dear friends. I would like to say thank you to give me an opportunity to say something on the International Yoga Day. First of all, I am wishing you all a Happy International Yoga Day. International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st of June every year since 2015. This day was first proposed by Indian Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi in his speech of the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly in 2014. This year 2023, the theme of the International Yoga Day is "Vasudhav Kutumbakam", which means earth is my home.

India practices Yoga since ancient time mentioned in the Hindu scriptures, Maharshi Patanjali is known as the "Father of Yoga", who wrote many books like Yoga Sutra and Mahabhashya. Patanjali was patronised by Pushymitra Sunga, of the Sunga dynasty.

Gautam Buddha left his home at the age of 29, to explore the world and know the truthness of the world. It was not an easy task to learn such type of knowledge what he expected. He met Rudrakramputra at Rajgir, who taught Gautam Buddha the knowledge of Yoga Philosophy. There are numerous stories of people who adopted Yoga as a foundation stone to achieve their goals easily.

A number of books have been written on Yoga, how to do, when to do and its benefits. Today in the 21st Century, the entire world is moving very fast, people are more focusing on earning money than keep themselves fit and fine, which leads to many diseases people are suffering. In their hectic life people must manage some time for themselves.

Today Indian Yoga gurus are giving their contributions to disseminate Yoga to the world. There is no country in the world where Yoga is not being done. Yoga not only keep you fit and fine but also helps you to live a healthy, wealthy and happy life.

Tarique Rahman returns Bangladesh after 17 years of self exile to UK. BNP acting chairperson Tarique Rahman returns Bangladesh after 17 years of self-exile, triggers a ray of hope among people especially minorities living there whose lives are at stake due to frequent incidents of violence. His return can be seen as ending of BNP leadership vacuum and projecting him as a Prime Ministerial post.
