India will very soon become the member of security council.

Hey! Welcome again. Here in this topic we shall try to know how India can be the member of United Nations security council. The efforts India has been pushing for decades turned down by invoking veto.

India, a big contender, has been pushing it's demand for making alternation in the structure of UNSC. But the deterrent China bringing impediments in the way make India cry. 

India has made remarkable progress in all sectors and has also strengthened it's foreign policy than ever. India is the biggest trade partner of China followed by the US. 

The recent developments took place in the interests of India shocked many when India became the member of MTCR in 2016 supported by G7. China had nothing to say about this development.
In 2019, when the article 370 that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir was scrapped, that time China had nothing to say.
In 2021, when UNO desinated Masood Azhar as a global terrorist list, China not invoked veto and passed any comments. 
In 2024 SCO meeting, foreign secretary S. Jaishankar visited Pakistan where he used the word 'terrorist' on the land of terrorist sponsored country. This time China not opened its mouth for his ally Pakistan.

The recent development where India has won it's much-needed claims to restore status quo prior to 2020 on the Ladakh region. The status quo was changed after a face-off between both the armies in 2020 where both nations lost their some soldiers. 

The 16th edition of BRICS summit hosted by Russian president Vladimir Putin in Kazan yields results in the interests of India where Indian prime minister met his chinese counterpart Xi jinping discussed on topics concerning India's interests. 

So if we look into the developments that took place over the last 10 years showing India's prowess in the world. India has made remarkable progress in all fields especially in it's foreign policy and keep potential to turn any situation in it's favour. India is the world's populous country with over 1.4 billion population surpassed China by a margin in 2023, declared the largest country by the UN. So here it is important to have a voice for 144 crore population in the UNO and India stands with it.

How long China's veto will work in the changing of geopolitical world. We must adhere with the principles of UNO and put pressure on China to bring India in the list.

India has become the mouth of south Asia and neighbours are somehow seeing India as a harbinger.
