Gaganyaan mission TV-D1 mission passed | Significance of Gaganyaan India's ISRO has once again made a historic moment for India when ISRO launches its first Gaganyaan mission on 21 October at 10:00 am. The mission was scheduled in the morning at 8:00 am but coming of technical glitches extended the launch and finally at 10:00 ISRO launched its mission and succeeds. It is really a proud moment for all and ISRO takes another giant leap. Earlier it was declared that ISRO would launch its space mission by 2023 but it was extended due to some incidents. This time ISRO launched its mission using Test Vehicle Demonstration TV-D1 rocket for the trial. It travelled a distance of 17 kilometre with 3 astronauts, spent 9 minutes and 50 seconds, safely splashed down in the bay of Bengal through parachute.
