1. AIADMK snaps ties with NDA.

- Ending its four year-old ties with BJP, AIADMK announce walking out of the NDA and said it would lead a separate front for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

2. Indians take 8 gram salt daily against limit of 5 gram.

- The survey was carried out by National Non-Communicable Disease Monitoring Survey and it is published in the journal Nature Portfolio.

3. Indian Air Force inducts its first C-295 tactical military aircraft.

- The first C-295 squadron named "The Rhinos" will based at Vadodara in Gujarat, under the mega Rs 21,935 crore contract inked for 56 such twin-turboprop aircraft two years ago.

- The project will see the private sector manufacture a military aircraft for the first time in India, breaking the virtual monopoly of defence PSU Hindustan Aeronautics Limited(HAL) in the arena.

International News.

1. US to open embassies in Pacific islands.

- President Joe Biden is set to announce the opening of new islands and Niue.

2. Philippines slams China for installing 'floating barrier' in South China Sea.

- The Philippines on Sunday accused China's Coast guard of installing a floating barrier in a disputed area of the South China Sea, saying it prevented Filipinos from entering and fishing in the area.

- The barrier blocking fishermen from the shoal was depriving them of their fishing and livelihood activities.

In the morning when I got up i saw all the members of my family give up their beds. Shopkeeper was arranging my articles even as i reached there.
