Paleolithic Culture and Mesolithic Culture both were stone age and come under prehistoric times, of which we don't have any written records. Only archaeological evidences prove the existence of the facts. Paleolithic Culture dated between 2.5 million to 1000 BC. People were hunters and gatherers, lived in caves and forests. They used large stone tools like hand axes, cleavers and choppers. The upper Paleolithic period witnessed emergence of homosapiens who walked straight, had higher mind capacity. Domestication of cows and horses begun. Paintings found at sites depicts the social life of people. The Mesolithic period dated from 10000 BC to 6000 BC. They lived in semi settlement places or semi built houses. They knew how to do agriculture, however they ate raw meat. They depicted images on rocks using natural colours. Domestication began to take shape. Microliths were small stones, prevalent in this period.
