BPSC 69th Exam 2023 | exam pattern | Changes in the exam | Negative marking in BPSC

BPSC is all set to conduct its 69th preliminary exam this September without any delay. Like previous exam of civil service, this year also BPSC will go with negative marking in the exam. It also tweaks some changes in the options reduced to four from five. This pattern somehow gives relieve to many students who found confused little bit in the exam although they have a answer.

It has been seen that the one of other objectives of the commission is to set a standard of questions for other exams so that other competitive exams would follow the questions in a good format. The older questions with five options might confused many decent scholars.

This is the second time the BPSC has continued its policy to go with negative marking and some changes that exhorts some hopes in the aspirants of the exam.

Why this exam is becoming more hard than ever ?

There are several reasons behind it, but the foremost is the growing competition among all sections of the society.

1. States interference towards civil services : It has been seen that many states like Bihar is one of them, offer scholarship to lure young people attract towards civil services. They offer fifty thousands to one lakhs rupees if a candidate qualify preliminary exam. Through this way many candidates especially  women have moved to this direction.

2. High perks and facility: The importance of civil servants seems never ends. If you are selected in the exam you are assigned a job, you will have never strive to pay revision. The foremost point is the immense power entrusted in the hands of civil servants is matchless.

3. Growing population : Population growth and increasing literacy rate of India are among other factors responsible for the exam becoming more hard. Every one is being literated and have dream to become something in his or her life.

4. Not coming other general competitive exams on time : Other general competitive exam should be taken timely. A regular vacancy of seats in every department gives oxygen to students keep their preparations continue and reduce burden on civil service exam.
