Our scientists have done commendable job developed ventilators, masks, PPE kits, Test kits, sanitisatizers and more over the vaccine and vaccination process on real time basis using CO WIN. Therefore, the entire nation is expressing gratitude towards science and technology. It is a science that saved the country from being vulnerable and made distinct from other developed and developing nations.  The aim of the National Science Day is to create curiosity about science and technology among people. That's why the government has launched Digital India to transform India into digitally empowered society  and knowledge economy. This day is historically significant because on the same day 1928, Indian scientist Sri  Chandra Shekhara Venket Raman discovered 'Raman Effects '.His theory changed the perspective of molecules and atom...

One Nation One Election way towards Presidential form of government

Mr Modi has once again advocated the idea of One Nation One Election and a single Voter List as well saying the election taking places every few months hinder developments.  PM Modi made strong pitch for simultaneous election, he said One Nation One Election is not an issue of deliberations but also need of the country. How the idea is feasible for the country like ours considering the Lok sabha and state Assembly term is not synchronized.  I just want to recall you we had this model like One Nation One Election from 1952-1967, it means both both the General Assembly and state Assembly elections were held together. Since 1970, when certain assemblies were dissolved prematurely due to some political reasons. Therefore, the cycle was broken.  Again, in 1983, Election commission of India (ECI) pitched for the need to bring back the Old Model in which election to the House of People and legislative Assembly are held simultaneously.  Similarly the Law Commission in 1999, ...

why farmers are worried?

In this pandemic, government passed Farm bills hurriedly in Rajyasabha suspending some opposition leaders who were against of the bills.  Goverment termed it as a historic act which will protect farmers from middlemen and broker who used to take away lion's share of the farmers.  Actually some farmers are worried and their concern lies between scraping of Minimum Support Price (MSP)  and not focussing on the plight of farmers. Although goverment promised that MSP will remain intact, the New Farm Act does not clearly mention any where about MSP. Some farmers are silent or neutral from the government action and the wide protest movements.  The wide protests are not limited in Punjab, Haryana but also sprawled it's leg in the adjacent areas like UP, Rajasthan, Uttrakhand, where farmers are trying to carry out their protest reach to Delhi.  The other reasons of worry is goverment is more focussing on consumers than producers. Goverment stops export to control hiking...

Chhath an ecofriendly festival

Chhath is an Indian Hindu festival, it's existence is well mentioned in the RigVeda. During the Guptas period it attained it's pride at zenith. Chhath is a festival celebrated not only in Bihar and it's adjacent areas but also across the world. People who migrated and settled their lives in different parts of the world also celebrate this festival with great fervour. Rulers of different dynasties patronised this festival.  Although there is no existence of idol worship  in the both Buddhism and Jainism, both preferred worshipping of the Sun. The name Magadh gained popularity due the devotees of Sun. There are numbers of sun temples built in India. Sun temple at Dev in Aurangabad, Dakshinaarka Sun temple in Gaya and Badgaon and Aungari in Nalanda, which attract a large number of devotees from far and wide.  Even though Sun worship finds no mention in the Indus valley civilization, the RigVeda has got vivid discription of sun worship.  Mo...

India retreats from RCEP

India not joined china-backed Regional Comphensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), this year over concerns cheap Chinese goods entering the country.  RCEP, was formed in 2012 aimed at regional cooperation in the Asian- pacific region. The 15 members RCEP consists of 10 membered ASEAN plus  China, Australia, South Korea, Japan and New Zealand.  The trade pact signed without India does not means,India can not be the member of this group in future, a special resolution was passes by the members in which it is mentioned that India can join the group at any time. This reflects the importance of India in the group.  India withdrew last year in the 3rd RCEP summit held in Bankok,Thailand concerns over cheap Chinese goods entering the country. Pressure from oppositions were mounting on the Modi-led government and PM welcoming the suggestions of democracy decided to not join RCEP. Reasons sunk RJD: MY PERSPECTIVE

In this Bihar state Assembly election shown many things like generosity of RJD, instilling fear of jungleRaj among people by BJP, stakeholding of Left parties, emergence of VIP party, expansion of AIMIM and other vote cutters (votekattua) parties.  Basically in this article I am laying emphasis on the reasons which sunk Mahagathbandhan (MGB). There are several reasons behind the defeat of MGB but the most among them was giving 70 seats to the Congress. Tejeswi led MGB failed to assess the current conditions of the Congress that the later tried to bite more than its could chew.  Second reason was AIMIM factor. Owassi led AIMIM polarized Hindu votes and divided Muslim votes basically in the Seemanchal region of the state consisting Kishanganj, Araria, Katihar, and Purnia districts where with sizeable Muslim population casted their votes to AIMIM.  THIRD, inspite knowing demographic devisions on the basis of caste and traditional patterns of election in Bihar,  Co...

After eight months, economy has been once again taking shape and saw total collection over 1lakh crore in October from GST.  India has total 51 festivals and 4 major festivals,  knowledge giver Buddha purnima celebrated in the month of March, power giver Dashara,  Anna data Maa Laxmi and the last is Holi.  All the above festival has its own features. In the months of festival we need to understand our traditional pattern of purchasing things. Potters, weavers, Bamboo-made manufacturer have been significant role in our cultural festival.  The Atmanirbhar programme started by Modi led goverment can bolster our traditional manufacturer. People in these days believe in pure goods used in festival so they go through our Indian traditional manufacturer.  Definitely these festive months will help economy and and generate source of income of many hand made manufacturer. The Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative would also flourish due to other more ...

Tejeswi steer Bihar

I'm writing this blog just  one hour before the counting of votes of the Bihar state Assembly election. People of Bihar are very confident about the outcomes and and feeling proud.  In a democracy people decide who can govern them. It is the people of Bihar whose wishes Tejeswi become chief minister.  This election should not be seen based on casteism it was based on trend of development to which people have cast their votes. People of Bihar bycotted Nitesh Kumar's developmental works. What he did during lockdown for the migrants workers was not good.  Unemployment was another big issues. Conducting examination lately and not filling the vaccant seat attracted more aggression among people. Many of them fell their careers are being spoiled.  Lack of transparency in both academic and administration led to the ending of Nitish Raj. Former DGP of Bihar and his functioning during his tenure was how much accountable, should also be assessed.  So a lot of things I...
