- The Centre notified norms to regulate the online gaming sector wherein real money games involving wagering or betting have been prohibited.

- Permissible online games are those games, real money or otherwise, that do not involve wagering, user harm in its content and do not create any addictive consequences for children.

2. PIB can now point out 'fake news' about government.

- The IT ministry notified as new rule that will give powers to the Press Information Bureau (PIB) to fact-check any "fake, or false , or misleading" information about the central government and asked social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Google to take it down.
