1. Urgent need to ensure relief reaches Gaza, hostage-taking unacceptable : Jaishankar said.

- Stating that there is an urgent need to ensure that humanitarian aid and relief safely reach the population of Gaza and hostage-taking is equally unacceptable and cannot be condoned, said Union Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar on the sidelines of BRICS leader's summit - he stepped in for Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was unable to join the virtual meeting convened by South Africa.

2. Rs 1 crore fine on every product with false claim : Supreme Court comes down heavily on Patanjali. 

- The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked Patanjali Ayurved to stop all false and misleading advertisements immediately.

1. Israel agrees to deal for release of 50 hostages, Hamas welcomes truce.

- Israel cabinet approves ceasefire deal with Hamas. The war broke out on October 7 when Hamas strikes several missiles and took hostages of Israeli and Israeli soldiers in response to the act, Israel declared war.

- She received International Emmy Directorate Award on the 51st edition of International Emmy Award Ceremony in NewYork.
