1. Former NITI Aayog Vice chairman Arvind Pangaria become the chirman of 16th Finance Commision.

- Former NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Arvind Pangaria has been appointed as the chairman of 16th Finance Commission.

- Finance commision, a constitutional body is mentioned under Article 280 of the Indian Constitution. And he will submit its report on October 31, 2025. 

- He will be the 16th Finance Commission for 2026-27 to 20230-31. 

- The finance commission plays a very important role in Centre- State Financial relations. 

2. Centre lists Goldy Brar as terrorist under UAPA act. 1967.

- The centre on Monday listed Canada- based Babbar Kkhalsa International (BKI) operative and gangester Satwinder Singh alias Goldy Barar as terrorist under UAPA act 1967.

Hey! Welcome again. Here in this topic we shall try to know how India can be the member of United Nations security council. The efforts India has been pushing for decades turned down by invoking veto. India, a big contender, has been pushing it's demand for making alternation in the structure of UNSC. But the deterrent China bringing impediments in the way make India cry.  India has made remarkable progress in all sectors and has also strengthened it's foreign policy than ever.
