1. Republic Day 2024: President Droupdi Murmu unfurls national flag at Kartavya Path.

- Indian President Droupdi Murmu on 75th Republic Day, unfurls national flag at Kartavya path,  accompanied by a 21-gun salute. 

- The earlier name of Kartavya path was Rajpath marg.

- This year Republic Day holds special significance with President Emmunuel Macron of France gracing the occasion as the chief guest. 

2. Foxconn CEO Young Liu has been honoured with Padma Bhushan.

- The CEO and chairman of Tawain tech company Foxconn, has been honoured with Padma Bhushan.

-  Young Liu is a recongnised entrepreneur and innovator with over four decades of experience.

International News.

1. Kenneth Eugene Smith, US prisioner executed with Nitrogen gas.

- He was executed with a method called pumping Nitrogen gas into his facemask, causing the person to suffocate.

- It is the first time the controversial method criticised by human right advocate.

2. Turky finally backs Swedan's NATO bid.

- while Turky has given its approval to Swedan's bid to become the member of NATO alliance, Hungry has yet to confirmed.

In the morning when I got up i saw all the members of my family give up their beds.
