- Union home Minister is constituting a panel to assess the parliament security by CISF personnel and should take charge of entire process - right from managing security arrangements to issuing passes to regulating movement of MPs, VIP officials, and the media.
- These responsibilities are currently entrusted with the parliament security service which functions under the almost century-old watch and ward committee.

2. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal gets interim bail with certain conditions.

- Arvind Kejriwal can't visit chief minister office and Delhi secretariat.
- He will not make any comment with regard to his role in his present case.
- He will not interact with any witnesses or officers of the case concerned.

International news. 

1. Israeli tanks encircle Rafah's eastern half, about one lakh Gaza people flee city in a week.

- Israeli tanks captured the main road dividing the eastern and western halves of Rafah. More than 1 lakh people have fled Rafah in the last five days.

2. The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) passes motion backing Palestinian statehood.
- The UN general assembly has overwhelmingly adopted a resolution declaring that Palestinians qualify for full - member status at the United Nations.
- The resolution was approved by a vote of 143 to 9 with 25 nations abstaining.
