2. Bastar Celebrates Independence Day After Years of Conflict

- For the first time ever, 14 tribal villages in Maoist-affected Bastar (Chhattisgarh) will hoist the national flag this Independence Day. The efforts India has been pushing for decades turned down by invoking veto. India, a big contender, has been pushing it's demand for making alternation in the structure of UNSC.
