World Happiness Report 2022

World happiness report is released by United Nations sustainable development soulutions network (SDSN), every year since 2012. In this year India ranks 136th out of 146 countries in the world. Finland tops in the list followed by Denmark and Iceland maintained 2nd and 3rd position respectively. SDSN works on 6 parameters, these are: 1) purchasing power parity (PPP) 2) Health life expectancy. 3) social support. 4) perception on corruption. 5) Generosity. 6) Freedom to make life choices. Afghanistan is the only country in the south Asia ranks 146. All the neighbour countries of India, except Afghanistan have higher rankings in the list.

Har ghar dastak abhiyan 2.0 || a complete vaccination drive

To accelerate the vaccination drive, union health ministry last year launched "har ghar dastak abhiyan" aimed to accelerate the vaccination drive , on the lines of polio vaccination drive, and eradicate the corana disease from India. The second edition of this "har ghar dastak abhiyan 2.0" has been launched to work at the ground level and meet the goal. WTO TRIPS issue

 India once again emphasised on making Trade related intellectual property rights (TRIPS) of the WTO norms more flexible. Prime minister of India Narendra Modi addressed the second Digital convention based on corona virus hoasted by the US president Joe Biden. In this forum India again underlined the importance of waiver in the TRIPS norms of the WTO so that it can give an opportunity to the developing nations to get the technology and make the vaccine. National voters day is celebrated on 25th of January every year. This year it has taken a theme "making elections inclusive, accessible and participative" and this day pays great tribute to each and every voter of the country and highlights the immense value of everyone's votes. Chief election commissioner Sushil Chandra announced the poll dates for the five States and phases. In Uttar Pradesh, nomination starts for the first phase from February 10. The election fever of Manipur is taking place into two phases, 38 seats for the first and 22  remaining in the second, all starts from March 10. Finding out about craft production: Chanhudaro : little settlement less than 7 hectare. Exclusively devoted to craft production including bead -making, shell- cutting, metal-working, seal-making and weight-making. First excavated by NG Majumdar in 1931, is the only Harappan city which does not have a fortified citadel.   Zero budget natural farming which would not just conserve soil fertility and water but also reduce cost of farming leading to increase farmers income is currently being practiced in 11 States.   MohenjoDaro is a planned urban centre. The development of urban centres was the most unique feature of the Harappan civilization. First site is Harappan.  the cities were divided into two or more parts.  The part of the west was smaller but higher called the citadel.  The part of the east was larger but lower; this is called a lower town.  Both the citadel and lower town were walled. 3.1 Laying out drains.
